Holiday Cheer

Not much is going on right now with the show, only because of the holidays being here. It's hard to juggle too many things. There are really only two things to update you on. 1) Save the Ta-Ta's donated t-shirts and bumper stickers for the raffle...check out www.savethetatas.com! 2)Lemorris Harris is designing our fliers for this year. We thank Lemorris for donating his time and talent to our event!
We have envisioned postcards (similar to H2Oi's) that we'll hand out. I'm also planning on having a tent at Volksfest down in the vendor area (Jason usually helps out with the show, last year he helped park cars on the field).
We're still looking for sponsors for the show, and for companies to donate items. Please either email sharonpowley@gmail.com or jasonpowley@gmail.com. HA Boyd VW out of Lebanon, PA is a sponsor, and we would like a few more to help defray costs.

HA Boyd is a proud sponser for Dub and Rub 2009.

For the 2008 show we paid for the t-shirts, vinyl clings and flyers out of the money raised at the show. We put out a bit of our own, and chalked it up to a good cause.

For the upcoming show we figured out what we spent last year, and asked the companies that donated for some monetary help. Scott, eagerly stepped up and was happy to assist with part of our needs. They were amazing in 2008 and donated 2 $100 gift certificates!

Not everyone can be all natural

Thebodywork on this '03 GTi caused the judges to bestow Best Implants on this spectacular car. (Eurotuner unknowingly agreed and the car was featured in October 2008.)

Perkiest and Best Cleavage

The '91 Jetta GL (also known as Money Pit) collected the Perkiest Award for his High Performance ride, while his father's '65 Bug was declared Best Cleavage for his great display.

All Natural is always a winner!

The owner of this 2001 GTi proudly displayed his daily driver and rode home as the declared winner of the All Natural class.

Figuring it out

I hope you're enjoying the site. I am slowly figuring out things. Getting the slideshow to work is killing me, so that's why pictures are missing. I figure eventually photobucket will work, or I will lose what little sanity I have left. My skillz are lacking when it comes to technology. I feel very lucky when I can get the TV, receiver, and cable box all functioning together.

I was reading through the Dry Heat Panzers site, and found this link. It's awesome. Click on the "click here to Give-it's FREE" button will help fund free mammograms for low-income, inner city and minority women whose awareness of breast cancer, and opportunity, is limited.
